Han river

Somewhere, on a toursit boat, on foot, by a dark night along the Han river we enjoyed the illuminated Seoul! All the photo here were taken without tripod, with 1600 or 3200 ISO level.

War Memorial Museum

This is the story of a country muffled between two giants : China, Japan and separated from Asian continent by the other Korea. They have come a long way, the Koreans, before being this world power. Poverty, war, this museum teach us the conflicts' chronicles of Korea.

Koreana

The Koreana... A great name for a lordly four mast boat ! Once, Kelly my Ol'rogue friend from Cleverland told me : "Hey Thomas, we have to have an adventure together, what about sailing on the Koreana, and sharing the crew's life ?"

From this moment on, we had to cross whole country, from Seoul to Namhae. The bus seemed a good option... But my "Vieux grigou" missed the bus. I went alone, and we met a couple of hours later (9-10 hours later) in a German village when happen a special Octoberfest.

What a wonderful adventure that sharing a sailors' crew life for two days, eat fresh korean food, drink, laugh. These guys seems rough and strong; they know what's life, however they have big hearts.

Sleeping on a boat, wake up at 5:30am to admire the sunrise, do the show for tourists and be filmed by Korean mbc, race to the summit of mast or go from Namhae to Yeosu in the early morning, the Crew, Kelly, I and our muse : The Koreana.
