North Korean border

I experienced something exciting : going to the North Korean border with South Korea by a snowing day, two days after the announcement of the North Korea's dictator death Kim Jong-il and the enhancement of South Korean's and American's army alertness.
It is really hard to take photos there, it's almost forbidden in every single interesting place... Indeed, one photo camera pointed on North Korean border could be represented as a weapon, and the South Korean part doesn't want to give the enemy confidential informations as well. Moreover, the time allocated to the visit of each place was short. The journalists are forbidden there, except if they get a special admission right. By the way, one South Korean came to me and asked me if I belonged to the journalist staff... Anyway, I took some photos when I could... The most exciting moment was the JSA, the jointure point between two Korea, indeed, after I entered in a conference room, I enjoyed staying some precious minutes on the other side of the border : North Korea!

Pajung-sa by night

Some other shots from pajung-sa. One during the sunset and the other just before the night. Still three weeks left to enjoy the city's lights, the N tower and let's hope the snow.

Beijing

What is the first country we think about when we hear about asia? China for sure! Beijing, with its huge avenue, its large square where people are dancing, its polluted atmosphere, its thousand policemen, its army of merchants and workers and its beautiful monuments. Who are the Pekinese people? A weird mix of communism and confucianism. How many of them died by building the magnificent great wall? Please, discover through these few photos a disturbing policed society.
